June 1st marked the 30th anniversary of the release of Jalapeño Bagels. The staying power of this story is in part thanks to teachers, parents of mixed-couple children, and Los Bagels. Thank you to all who bought the book, took it out of the library, added it to your classroom library, or gifted it. 

I'm happy to announce that 30 years later a new book using the same family is releasing this year! Day of Little Angels is about Pablo and how he deals with the loss of his cousin.

Both books are illustrated by the talented Robert Casilla.
